Work Experience

Brad Ebel has over 20 years experience in forensic and insurance loss accounting including litigation support and investigation. Brad has conducted or been involved in over 1,500 assignments encompassing a range of industries and businesses involving companies located in Canada, the United States and overseas. His investigations have included the quantification of business and property losses, loss of income, fraud and employee defalcations, personal injury and wrongful death, breach of contract and third party liability.

Brad has a wide range of experience in transportation claims arising from train derailment, aircraft manufacturing losses, marine fire losses and cargo evaluation.

He has provided litigation support in business income loss, physical damage and property loss, bodily injury economic loss and third party liability loss quantification and has provided expert testimony on these matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Queen’s Bench of New Brunswick.

On numerous occasions Brad has provided expert testimony on the financial viability of an entity’s operations in both civil and criminal proceedings.

In addition, Brad’s significant experience in the mining and metals industry has taken him on assignments in North and South America, the Caribbean and Europe.

Brad has been a guest speaker and seminar leader on many occasions on economic loss and damage topics including business interruption and loss of income.
