Work Experience

Matt Mulholland obtained his Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and received his Certified Management Accountant designation in 2003.

He received his Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting at the University of Toronto in 2008, which is a graduate studies program specializing in accounting related to legal proceedings.

Matt has over eight years experience in financial advisory services practice and his professional concentration has been in determining, verifying and analyzing factual matters by the examination of accounting, operating and financial records; and the interpretation and communication of these financial facts along with calculations and recommendations, primarily in connection with economic damage quantification in insurance and litigation matters.

Matt has provided expert testimony on loss of income matters before the Superior Court of Ontario.

Matt has been engaged in various types of assignments including business interruption, extra expense, inventory, entertainment, physical damage claims, fraud accounting, past and future income loss cases, product liability and contamination cases, and catastrophic loss services. His assignments have encompassed a wide range of industries and involve companies across Canada and the United States.

In addition, he has participated in numerous seminars for insurance companies, adjusters and lawyers regarding various aspects of insurance and accounting.
