Work Experience

Chris was formerly based in Houston, Texas, where he began his career with Matson Driscoll & Damico. In 2008, he relocated to Sydney Australia to open MDD's 32nd office. Prior to opening the Sydney office, Chris worked with the firm's office in London, England where he completed a six-month secondment with Faraday Syndicate 435 at Lloyd's of London.

From his time in Houston, Chris gained significant experience in the oil and gas, chemical/petrochemical and power generation industries. He also gained catastrophe experience following Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Since relocating to Sydney, Chris has worked on various assignments across Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Asia.

Most recently, Chris managed MDD's international response to the 2010 Christchurch earthquake, having been appointed on numerous high-profile claims.

In addition to his client work, Chris has conducted various seminars and training sessions on business interruption measurement issues to claims managers, underwriters, loss adjusters and lawyers.

Chris is a Certified Public Accountant and graduate from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors degree in Applied Mathematical Sciences; he earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston.
