Industry Experience:
Work ExperienceBeginning his career as a college intern, Jack rose through the ranks to become a partner with the predecessor firm, Johnson Atwater & Company, and a founding partner of Matson, Driscoll & Damico in 1979. Jack specializes in forensic and investigative accounting assignments that require an in-depth examination of domestic and multi-national accounting and operating and financial records, especially in cases involving insured claims and a variety of litigation matters. Now with more than 38 years of worldwide experience in industries ranging from agriculture to utilities, Jack's work has revolved around some of the insurance industry's most significant and complex claims. Those engagements range from property damage to business interruption, extra expenses, products recall and catastrophe loss services. Jack's involvement in these losses stems from accidents at nuclear power plants, a terrorist attack on a major financial center, product contamination incidents and widespread damages resulting from natural disasters. Jack is regarded as one of the leading speakers on a wide range of related industry topics and has presented seminars, workshops and papers at Lloyds of London as well as for leading global insurance, legal, university and civic organizations. He is often called as an expert witness in federal, state and foreign courts, where he has provided expert testimony in matters ranging from business disputes to class action, lost profits, predatory pricing and subrogation matters. |
