Work Experience

Dave began his career in April 1993 in the Charlotte, North Carolina office of Matson, Driscoll & Damico. In September 1999, Dave opened the Washington, DC office and has experienced steady growth since its inception. Now, as the partner in charge of the Washington, DC office, Dave specializes in forensic and investigative accounting assignments that require in-depth financial analysis. His experience is in determining, verifying and analyzing factual matters by the examination of accounting, financial and other operating records.

Typical assignments have included the analysis of business interruption, extra expense, inventory and physical damage claims. Additionally, Dave is experienced in the investigation of fraud, embezzlements, arson and financial condition. Dave is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Throughout his years with Matson, Driscoll & Damico, Dave has spoken at and conducted seminars at local and national conferences as well as in-house training for specific clients. His seminars have involved a wide range of topics related to the evaluation of economic damages including business interruption, extra expense and stock and contents losses.
