Work Experience

John has been in the practice of investigative and forensic accounting at Matson, Driscoll and Damico for 30 years. In addition to his duties in the Chicago office and Midwest Region, he has also served on the firm’s Executive Committee for over 10 years.

John’s professional specialization has been in performing analyses of financial and operating data necessary for determination and verification of insurance claims and economic losses sustained due to property damage/casualty losses as well as other disruptions to business. In addition, John’s work experience includes both insurance claims evaluations and litigation support; he has been qualified to serve as an expert witness numerous times in state and federal courts as well as acting as an appraiser on a number of occasions.

Over the years, John has presented seminars on topics including business interruption losses, property damage losses and reported values for insurance coverages.
