Work Experience

Tom has been practicing forensic and investigative accounting with Matson, Driscoll & Damico for over 25 years and is the managing partner for the Orlando and Miami offices. He has worked on numerous projects for domestic and international companies in determining economic damages for a number of diverse industries.

Tom’s professional experience includes commercial insurance claims and litigation support. He has been called upon and qualified to serve as an expert witness in federal and state courts. The engagements included testifying in deposition and court on matters such as lost profits, financial motive, business interruption, commercial disputes and embezzlement. Tom was part of the group appointed by the United Nations to assist with the measurement of commercial losses related to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.

Tom has conducted seminars before national and local insurance industry professionals, attorneys, accountants and students.

Tom also serves as the firm’s Catastrophe Director. In this capacity, he facilitates the implementation of the firm’s Catastrophe Plan and the coordination of the firm’s vast professional resources.
