Matson, Driscoll & Damico Announces Two New Partners

Matson, Driscoll & Damico, an international forensic & investigative accounting, firm will admit Martin Pavelic and Suzanne Tarchala to the firm as partners in 2008.  Martin manages the firm’s Montreal, Quebec office, while Suzanne manages the Detroit, Michigan office.

Martin became a Certified Management Accountant in 1999 and has more than ten years experience in forensic accounting.  He has provided expert reports and testimony for litigation matters in Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States and the Caribbean.  Following the 2004 hurricane season, Martin spent a significant amount of time managing MD&D’s catastrophe office in the Cayman Islands. 

Additionally, Martin has worked on assignments for the firm throughout Europe and in the Middle East.  His areas of expertise include business interruption, extra expense and accident benefit losses.

Suzanne began her career at MD&D in 2000; she is a CPA in the state of Michigan and has over 13 years of experience in forensic accounting.  She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Society of CPAs, along with being an associate member of the National Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.  She is currently the Treasurer for the Michigan Chapter of the National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators.

Suzanne concentrates her practice in physical damage reconstruction projects, business interruption and extra expense, individual disability claims, financial condition analysis and fidelity claims.  She is primarily engaged by insurance companies, adjusting firms and attorneys and has served as an expert witness in both state and federal court.
