Matson, Driscoll & Damico Announces Two New U.S. Partners

Matson, Driscoll & Damico has admitted Brian Mohlenhoff and Susan Powell to the firm as partners effective January 1, 2009. Brian is based out of the firm’s Parsippany, NJ office while Susan is located in Houston, TX.

Brian is a licensed CPA in New York and has been with MD&D since 1994. During the past 14 years he has been involved in numerous business interruption, extra expense, inventory, physical damage, reconstruction, catastrophe losses, builder’s risk and soft costs and fidelity cases. Brian has also served as an expert witness in litigation matters. He has worked on files in magnitude from $5K to in excess of $250 million.

Susan is a CPA and CVA in the state of Texas. She spent the early years of her career in a small public accounting firm and was involved with the attestation of financial statements and preparation of tax returns for individual, partnership and corporate clients. She later became intrigued with the insurance industry and worked as forensic accountant for an international independent adjusting company before coming to Matson, Driscoll and Damico in 2002.

Over the past 15 years, Susan has focused on forensic accounting and consulting services provided for insurance companies, attorneys and risk managers. She has worked on a variety of matters involving the evaluation and quantification of economic damages including lost profits, stock and contents, and fidelity losses resulting from insurance events. Susan has worked files ranging in magnitude of $5K to in excess of $400 million.
