The CFF credential, which was created in 2008, is granted to qualified CPAs who demonstrate significant expertise in the field of financial forensics. In addition to this expertise, each CFF must complete 75 hours of learning and education activities and be a member in good standing with the AICPA. All CFF holders must be recertified every three years to maintain the credential.
