Phillip Taylor Named Managing Director for MD&D Singapore, Announces Local Staff Changes

Effective January 2007, Phillip Taylor, ACMA, CFE, has been named Managing Director for Matson, Driscoll & Damico Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. This title is equivalent to Partner status.

Phillip, who is fluent in French, first began working at MD&D in 1994. After leaving the firm to work for the London Stock Exchange, he rejoined the firm’s London office in 2001. During this time, Phillip was engaged in forensic accounting assignments that took him across Europe and into North Africa.

In 2003, Phillip relocated to open and manage the Singapore office. Since moving to Singapore, he has worked on assignments in over 14 countries in the Asia Pacific region. His focus has been in business interruption and loss of profit claims, delay in start-up, material damage and stock losses, fidelity claims, financial motive in fraud cases and product liability and recall.

“Phillip has done an outstanding job growing MD&D-Singapore, and we are pleased to welcome him as Managing Director,” said John A. Damico, CPA and Managing Partner for the firm.

Paul Isaac, who has provided valuable support to Phillip for almost three years, will return to England to resume working for the firm’s London office. Taking his place is Andreea Ilie, who is currently based out of MD&D-London.

Norman Kwan will also move to Singapore from MD&D’s San Francisco office. His experience and fluency in Cantonese will broaden the firm’s reach and boost MD&D’s ongoing expansion within the Asia Pacific region.
